With circuit breaker measures now being followed around the globe, everyone is glued to their home. But one cannot ignore the intense summer heat. How do we treat that? 

This what I did. Made Mango and Strawberry pops to cool my system. Prep time is hardly few minutes and freeze time is 3-4 hrs.   
If you find fresh mangoes and strawberries, consider yourself lucky and use them. if not, buy a tin of Mango pulp and some frozen strawberries and you are good to go.

  • 1 Alphonso Mango
  • 4-5 Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp +2 tbsp water
  • 2 +2 tsp raw sugar or any other equivalent sweetener
  • Popsicle Mould/ Ice cube tray/ Dixie cups
  • Puree the mangoes with  2 tbsp water + 2 tsp sugar. Set aside. 
  • Puree the strawberries with  2 tbsp water + 2 tsp sugar. Set aside. 
  • You can leave some chunks as is for texture. Frozen fruits chunks taste great while you bite in.
  • Fill 3/4th of your pop- moulds first with Mango puree.
  • Add the strawberry layer next. 
  • You can also do a layer of strawberry first followed by mango and strawberry again. 
  • Using a fork or a skewer gently mix to form a marbled effect. 
  • Close the lid and insert the popsicle stick. 
  • Freeze for 3-4 hrs or leave it in the freezer overnight or until use.
  • Thaw for 3-4 min and release the pops. Enjoy.
