MLLA 111 - MY LEGUME LOVE AFFAIR - EVENT ROUND UP FOR SEPTEMBER

I am absolutely delighted to present the event round up for MLLA 111. Though I am aware that I need to let go of the relay baton to another fellow blogger, the fact that the event is ongoing is something that I am glad about. I would always look forward to this event and be a part of it as much as I can. A big thanks to Susan  the creator and my friend Lisa again for having had me as a co-host. I am so thankful to Lisa for all the support she extended for this event and I am even glad that I have found another friend on blogosphere proving that distance is not a barrier for friendship. I would like to wish her the very best in everything. I also thank all my fellow blogger friends who have participated in this event.

Now coming to the event recipe entries.
We have Instant Pot Mizo Dal from Vidhya of VVK ( Vidhya's Vegetarian Kitchen as the first entry. What impressed me in this recipe is it does not involve any kind of tempering in the end. All the flavours are infused in the very beginning and cooked until soft. I am sure it would taste great with Ghee Phulkas, Jeera Rice or even Plain Basmathi rice.
The next entry is a Super fragrant Dal recipe from Ray of The Humble Lentil This thick Dal soup is an aromatic medley of Dals fragrant spices and browned Onions  simmered in Coconut milk and tempered. I have bookmarked this recipe and I am sure is going to be a hit.

You cannot separate a South Indian from Sambhar and Sambhar from a South Indian. Don't you all agree? I am sure you do. So, here is Tiffin Sambhar from Sweetie Rafeeda of The Big Sweet Tooth and needless to say that this Sambhar is very flavourful and is a killer combo with spongy Idlis and Crispy Dosas.

Another interesting entry was this Pea and Courgette Rice from The Veg Hog. The interesting part of this cooked rice is that it resembles  the South Indian Bisi Bele Bath in appearance. I absolutely loved the recipe and also the rainy background in the photo.
The next entry was Spinach Hummus from Sapana Behl of Cooking with Sapana. The photograph speaks for itself. Don't you feel like dipping your cutlets into it? Nutritionally speaking, this is a Protein cum Iron shot in one go. Try it.

Shaheen  of  A2K has an interesting recipe to share.

Marrow, Manchego Cheese, White Beans and Sage Pithivier. This is the first time that I am coming across this name. Unlike the regular curry stuffed Puff Pastry, this has  an interesting mix of Marrow, Cheese and beans mildly seasoned and stuffed inside. Should be a great starter snack.

And last of all is my submission to this event. Panai Vella Kadalai Burfi it is.
Thank you all again for participating. Much appreciated
